Other branches of the family seem to try to meet every so often for reunions.  Here are the ones I've found, which may or may not have a future.

A Soup Kitchen Reunion was held with 54 people in Van Buren Arkansas in 2009;  the 2010 reunion is planned for June 19

Descendants of Clarence Gilstrap (Durant, Oklahoma) have a reunion every Labor Day weekend in the Lake Texoma Area.
